Islandgirl

At first it was a character design practice, but then I had the idea to make an illustration with one of the characters. The story behind the illustration was to show off the inhabitants of the islands which rush along the water surface by using magic. The islands are inhabited by girls which were born by magic tree on the main island. Every full moon the tree absorbs the moonlight and then, after a few months, the fruits are ripening on it. From them the girls appear endowed with magical powers of nature.
